At IQ Metal, just like across the industry, our certified male welders rule as the kings of the workshops, overseeing their kingdoms on the predominantly male shop floors. That is why we are very happy to present the first all-female team from our IQ Metal Welding Academy.
You are the first, but certainly not the last. Your courage, smartness and dedication make us so proud. May you continue to conquer the workshop kingdoms, inspiring women to take bold steps in the industrial world.
As part of our ESG initiatives, the IQ Metal Group has aligned our focus with the UN's Sustainable Development Goals, with priority given to SDG #5, Gender Equality. As articulated in our annual reports, "We aim to transform a predominantly male company into an attractive workplace for both genders." However, as in other situations, statements and admirable (sustainable) goals mean "nothing" without execution and walking the talk, which are "everything."
