The celebration of the 5 years anniversary of the IQ Metal Gemba Kaizen Program.
More than 10 years ago, when the smaller craftsman like Brændstrup Maskinfabrik was transformed to IQ Metal with the vision, to grow the company and being a competitive industrial supplier with a more global footprint, the vision was supported by the mission statement expressed as “tomorrow better than today”.
But why “tomorrow better than today”? When you are situated at an extreme competitive market place like the industrial subsupply of steel and metal solutions, you can only grow by being more competitive, which requires that you must constantly improve.
In order to support and strengthen the culture of continuous improvements, 5 years ago we launched the IQ Metal Gemba Kaizen program and for the 5th time we recently celebrating the anniversary of the IQ Metal Gemba Kaizen. A small but important event and despite very busy days and a challenging time, we must not forget to celebrate the small but important occasions and not least our everyday heros who "walks the talk".
