One more 10 kW fiber laser cutting machine to IQ Metal.
During 2020 IQ Metal has implemented 3 fully automated 10 kW Bystronic Bystar Fiber laser cutting machines. The machines were installed at IQ Metal Poland, but Friday March 19 IQ Metal Plant Director Jesper Z. Nielsen and Bystronic Area Sales Manager Denmark, Mogens Olsen, signed the contract for another 10 kW Bystronic Bystar Fiber laser cutting machine. The new machine will be installed at IQ Metal Denmark. The entire capacity need of laser cutting at the IQ Metal Group will hereafter be covered by machines installed during last 12 – 14 months.
Even if the huge productivity of the four 10 kW fiber lasers will offer a significant amount of excess capacity, IQ Metal will be holding additional laser cutting machines as follows:
1 x 4 kW fully automated fiber laser cutting machine, 4 x Co2 laser cutting machines.
These machines will be utilized for capacity backup, flexibility purposes and further growth.
